Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is recruiting for a District Nurse – Community Specialist Practitioner to join our district nursing team in Sale. The role is part-time (22.5 hours) with a 7-day service pattern, including weekends and lates, and offers leadership responsibilities alongside clinical delivery.

You will hold a CSP qualification and be a Registered Non-Medical Prescriber, with a proven track record in community health nursing and leadership.

Qualifications

• Must hold CSP qualification and be registered Non-Medical Prescriber.
• Proven leadership and change management experience.
• Excellent communication and teaching skills.
• Full/current driving license and access to car.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality district nurse care within a seven-day service.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to the community nursing team.
• Work within a MDT to address diverse wellbeing needs of the population.
• Uphold values of compassionate patient care and professional development.
