Job summary

NHS Forth Valley invites applications for a Community Registered Nurse (Band 5) to cover maternity leave in Falkirk. The post is fixed-term/secondment, 18.5 hours per week, across a 7-day pattern.

Based with the Community Nursing team, you will provide home visits, wound care, catheter care and palliative support within the Falkirk district. The successful candidate will hold Part 1 of the NMC register, have a driving licence, and be able to travel across the area to deliver high-quality,

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with Part 1 of the NMC register is required.
• Driver’s licence and willingness to travel across the area are essential.
• Post involves community/district nursing with home visits and some treatment room duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide District Nursing care and home visits.
• Work within the treatment room as needed.
• Travel across the Falkirk area to deliver patient care in the community.
• Support prevention, anticipatory care and self-management for patients living at home.
