Job summary

Phoenix Senior Living is seeking a Cook for The Neighborhood at Sheffield to join our culinary team. The Cook reports to the Food and Beverage Director and is responsible for all food preparation to meet quality and service standards within the community.

Responsibilities include menu adherence, sanitation, documentation, and ensuring dietary needs are met. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and SERV Safe certification; 1 year related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred.
• One year of job-related experience in food preparation and therapeutic diets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to approved recipes and menus.
• Maintain sanitary conditions and comply with food safety standards.
• Record temperatures and quantities for inventory and regulatory compliance.
• Follow production sheets and dietary requirements; ensure quality and temperature controls.
