Join to apply for the Community Dietitian role at Cheswold Park Hospital

We are looking for a Band 5 Dietitian to join our busy Community Nutrition & Dietetics Service in Barnsley. We welcome applications from newly qualified Dietitians and experienced Band 5 Dietitians interested in community settings.

Job Details:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Location: The Cudworth Centre, Barnsley
  • Salary: £29,970 to £36,483 per year
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Full-time, flexible working

Role Overview:

This varied role involves community clinics, care homes, and housebound patients, covering nutrition support and general dietetics, with opportunities to gain experience in diabetes and enteral feeding. Our friendly team supports your professional development and collaborative working.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a community caseload across various settings.
  2. Provide assessments and interventions for diverse conditions.
  3. Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care.
  4. Contribute to staff training, clinical supervision, and student supervision.
  5. Maintain accurate records and adhere to professional standards.
  6. Participate in CPD and service development activities.

Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc or Post-graduate Diploma in Dietetics
  • Registration with HCPC
  • UK driving license and access to a vehicle
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and team skills
  • Commitment to professional development
