Job summary

Jewish Care in Ilford is seeking an Activities Programme Assistant to deliver vibrant, person-centred day services across our Dennis Community Centre. You will plan, run and support engaging activities, building relationships with members, families and volunteers to help them stay connected and valued.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with older people and/or disabled people.
• Ability to communicate sensitively and build relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Willingness to learn and provide person-centred support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging activities and programmes that promote social connection and wellbeing.
• Adapt activities to meet physical, cognitive, emotional, and cultural needs.
• Support seniors, families and carers with dignity and independence.
• Maintain a calm, dementia-friendly environment and report changes in wellbeing to seniors.
