Job summary

Angard Staffing in the United Kingdom is recruiting flexible Royal Mail delivery drivers on a temporary basis. You’ll drive a Royal Mail van and deliver letters and parcels across your community, with shifts that may vary and a focus on reliability and customer service.

Pay rates are shown for each shift, with Day £16.24, Dawn £17.16, Night £19.00, and other slots. The role combines driving and foot deliveries, requiring fitness and flexibility to perform well in all weather.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence: Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points – you’ll be driving a Royal Mail van as part of your round.
• Physical Fitness: Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Flexibility: Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in your community, driving a Royal Mail van and also delivering on foot parts of your route.
• Provide exceptional service and ensure items reach destination safely.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail business standards.
• Be a visible representative in your neighbourhood and stay flexible to meet daily needs.
