Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You will deliver letters and parcels across your local area, walking and driving a delivery van, with an emphasis on friendly service in the community.

This role combines outdoor activity with steady shifts, requires a full UK manual driving licence and fitness to walk long distances. Training and driving assessment will be provided. Angard staffing will support you throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required for Royal Mail van driving.
• Must be able to walk long distances and handle a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area, combining driving and walking.
• Ensure items reach customers safely and on time, including handling election materials where required.
• Provide friendly community service and maintain high standards of customer service.
