Job summary

Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd on behalf of Royal Mail is hiring flexible Post Person with Driving roles in the Newport area. You will deliver letters and parcels across your community, combining walking with driving a Royal Mail van.

A full manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points, the fitness to walk up to 20,000 steps a day, and the ability to adapt to shifting patterns are essential. You’ll join a team delivering a vital local service.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area.
• Drive a Royal Mail van as part of your round, with some route parts completed on foot.
• Securely deliver all items on your route and handle election materials and certain restricted items in line with Royal Mail standards.
