Job summary

Elmbridge Borough Council is seeking a proactive Project Officer to deliver the Community Connector Programme as part of our Connected Communities strategy at the Civic Centre, Esher. You will collaborate with colleagues and partners, coordinate resources for the voluntary sector and help evaluate progress against targets.

Qualifications

• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Experience in influencing and supporting positive change at community/organisational levels.
• Project administration experience and ability to carry out research and analysis.
• Experience with office systems and administrative processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of data protection principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the development of Elmbridge's Community Connector Programme.
• Work with colleagues and partners to centralise resources for the Voluntary Sector.
• Undertake research and evaluation of internal work and external best practices.
• Prepare updates for key stakeholders, elected members and colleagues.
