Job summary

River Exe Healthcare Limited is seeking caring and proactive Support Workers to assist a lady in living an independent and fulfilling life in South East Cornwall. The role involves 2:1 support during 12-hour shifts, encouraging hobbies, and promoting wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 2:1 support during 12-hour shifts (8am–8pm).
  • Encourage participation in hobbies and community outings.
  • Support healthy eating habits and meal planning/preparation.
  • Assist with shopping and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
  • Accompany to appointments and community engagements.
  • Prompt and assist with medication per care plans.
  • Offer emotional support and positive encouragement.
  • Promote independence, choice, and dignity at all times.

We are looking for caring, proactive, and confident Support Workers to join a dedicated team supporting a friendly lady to live a fulfilling and independent life.

This is a rewarding role for someone who is enthusiastic, patient, and able to provide positive encouragement and motivation. The successful candidate will support her to engage in activities she enjoys while promoting her wellbeing, independence, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing 2:1 support during 12-hour shifts- 8-8.

  • Maintaining accurate records and completing required documentation
About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has mental health experience

  • Is flexible and dependable
  • Be able to work shifts
  • Has experience in care/support work (preferred but not essential as training can be provided)
