Job summary

The City of Fort Worth is seeking a part-time Community Center Aide to support Eugene McCray Community Center programs and activities. You will assist with planning, supervision, and housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for participants.

Required are a high school diploma, six months in recreation or related services, a valid Texas driver’s license, and CPR/First Aid/AED certification (or ability to obtain within six months).

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Six months of experience in recreation or athletic services and programs; some custodial experience required.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification or ability to obtain within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining recreational facility and organizing materials for activities.
• Promotes educational, cultural and recreational activities/events.
• Performs maintenance and custodial duties as needed.
• Instructs fitness classes and orients users of fitness equipment.
