Derbyshire County Council is recruiting two Care Workers (Community) for the Northeast Extra Care Service, at Smithybrook View Extra Care Establishment in Clay Cross. You will work a three-shift rota, including early mornings, afternoons, and waking nights, with enhanced pay after 7pm and before 7am.

Role involves personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, and supporting clients to maintain independence.

Formación

• No prior experience required; full training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care, dressing and undressing for clients.
• Prepare meals and assist with nutrition.
• Administer medication as directed by health professionals.
• Monitor health and wellbeing of clients and report changes.
• Assist clients to access communal areas and participate in activities.
• Work collaboratively with Health Care Professionals, Together Housing team, families and colleagues.
• Respond to unplanned emergencies and follow care support plans.
