Job summary

The Warren Homecare Ltd seeks a compassionate Community Care Worker to provide personal and domestic care in clients' homes in the Mildenhall area. You will support bathing, grooming, meals, and household tasks, along with medication assistance, following the care plan and training.

Work closely with families and healthcare professionals to promote wellbeing, independence, and dignity, while keeping accurate care records in line with CQC standards.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required
• Access to own vehicle is required
• Right to work in the UK is required

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure nutrition needs are met
• Carry out domestic tasks (cleaning, laundry, shopping)
• Provide medication support per care plan
• Offer emotional and social support to promote wellbeing
• Monitor and report changes in health or behaviour
• Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate care records per company and CQC standards

Job description

As a Community Care Worker, you will:

• Support service users with personal care including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met
• Carry out domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping
• Provide medication support (oral and topical, as per care plan and training)
• Offer emotional and social support, promoting wellbeing and independence
• Monitor and report changes in health or behaviour
• Work collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and professional care records in line with company and CQC standards

Essential:

• Full UK driving licence
• Access to own vehicle
• Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

• Previous experience in care
• Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
