Job summary

Eviqa Complex Care is seeking dedicated bank Support Workers to provide 1:1 community support across Devon, Torbay, Plymouth, Cornwall, and Somerset. Role emphasizes building independence, safe transport, and patient, respectful engagement with adults and children.

Shifts are flexible across evenings and weekends, with enhanced rates for evenings and bank holidays. Training is provided, along with DBS support and ongoing clinical supervision.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with car and business use insurance.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply (refunded after 50 hours).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Able to work some evenings, weekends or nights.

Responsibilities

• 1:1 community support: days out, appointments, hobbies, social time.
• Help clients build independent living skills and maintain their home.
• Provide short breaks for disabled children and young people.
• Be a familiar face with a child or adult in hospital.
• Record shifts clearly on a phone and communicate with the team.
