Job summary

Care Santé Limited in Herne Bay is seeking caring Home Care Assistants to join our growing team. You will provide life-changing support to adults in their own homes, with flexible shifts in Whitstable and Herne Bay.

No prior experience required; full training provided. Competitive pay at £13.32 per hour, paid mileage and a range of benefits, including enhanced PPE, DBS checks paid for, pension, and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Driving licence with access to a vehicle.
• No previous experience required; demonstrate compassion, communication and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with mobility and daily living activities.
• Perform domestic tasks such as beds, tidying, laundry and cleaning.
• Help with personal care, washing, bathing and toileting.
• Prepare meals, snacks and drinks; assist with feeding if required.
• Assist with medication administration as needed.
• Support end-of-life care as required.

We have an excellent opportunity for Care Assistants to join our Care Teams based in;

• Whitstable
• Herne Bay

We have opportunities of both full time and part time positions available. Working usual shift patterns of;

• Mornings 7am-3pm
• Evenings 3pm-10pm (there must be mainly evening shift availability)
• Alternative weekends

As a Home Care Worker you’ll provide life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives, within their own homes.

Job Description

• Helping service users overcome any mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including helping in the use of, and care of aids/adaptations and personal equipment.
• Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes
• Our home care assistants are responsible for assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toileting arrangements.
• Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks, assisting with feeding if required
• Support with preparing and administering medication.
• Contribute as needed to a person’s end-of-life care

Requirements

• Have a right to work within the UK
• A driving licence and access to a vehicle is required for this role.
• No previous experience is necessary but you will need to demonstrate real compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver, and be committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care
