Job summary

Avon Search is recruiting for a Community Care Assistant on behalf of a highly regarded domiciliary care provider in Colwyn Bay. No care experience is required, just a caring nature and a willingness to learn.

This role offers guaranteed contracted hours of 30 per week, with routes and shifts covering weekdays and some evenings. You will support clients in their own homes, delivering person-centred care, with full induction training and ongoing development.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support clients with personal care, including washing, dressing and grooming.
• Assist with mobility and activities of daily living.
• Support with medication in line with care plans.
• Prepare meals and encourage nutrition and hydration.
• Undertaking light household duties, including cleaning and laundry.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Support clients to attend appointments and access their local community.
• Encouraging independence and promoting choice.
• Maintaining accurate care records.
• Reporting changes in clients’ wellbeing to the senior team.
• Working closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals.

Mileage: 45p per mile

Shifts Available: 7:30am – 1:30pm and 4:00pm – 9:00pm
