Job summary

Bramble Homecare Limited is seeking Community Care Workers to visit clients in Gloucester and surrounding areas, helping them stay safe, comfortable and independent in their own homes.

Two work types are available (full-time, part-time and bank). You may receive a weekday rate of £15.30 per hour and £18.25 per hour on weekends, plus a 35p mileage allowance. No visa sponsorship offered. Training and support are provided for those new to care.

Qualifications

• No previous care experience? No problem. If you have the right attitude and genuinely enjoy helping people, we’ll provide the training and support you need.

Responsibilities

• Visit people in their own homes and help them remain safe, comfortable and independent.
• Your day could include helping with washing and dressing, preparing meals, assisting with medication or personal care, providing companionship, or simply having a cup of tea and a chat.

We offer two different types of community care work:

FRAMEWORK WORK – £15.30 PER HOUR WEEKDAYS £18.25 WEEKENDS

Framework care is paid at £15.30 per hour for the time you spend providing care to clients (contact time). £18.25 per hour Weekend Contact time

You’ll also receive 35p per mile mileage allowance.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll visit people in their own homes and help them remain safe, comfortable and independent.

Your day could include supporting someone to get washed and dressed, preparing meals, helping with medication or personal care, providing companionship, or simply having a cup of tea and a chat.

Sometimes it’s the smallest things that make the biggest difference to someone’s day.
