Job summary

Prestige Nursing & Care is seeking a compassionate Community Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes in Derbyshire. You will help with daily living tasks, medication prompts, personal care, meal preparation, and light housework, promoting independence and dignity.

A driver is required for this role. You will build trusting relationships with clients and families, work with community-based clients, and comply with DBS/PVG checks and HMRC requirements.

What our client is looking for:

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Community Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and comfort. In this role, you will provide personalised care tailored to each individual’s needs, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication prompts, personal care, meal preparation, and light household duties.

You will build positive, trusting relationships with clients and their families, ensuring their wellbeing and safety at all times. This position is ideal for someone with a caring nature, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality support within the community.

Experience is needed for this role.
