Job summary

Westbank Community Health and Care in Exminster is seeking a Café Supervisor to lead Coffee On The Corner. This part-time, fixed-term role (6 months, with possible extension) fits around daytime hours Monday to Thursday and involves managing volunteers, delivering friendly service, and handling stock and food safety.

You should have supervisory catering experience; a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate is desirable; comfort with IT and POS systems; and a community-minded outlook.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory catering role.
• A Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (desirable).
• Confidence with basic IT and POS systems.
• Available daytime hours on weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Running the café with a focus on excellent service and community spirit.
• Creating simple, wholesome menu options that reflect local needs.
• Supporting and inspiring a team of volunteers.
• Helping the café grow through community events and initiatives.
• Managing stock and ensuring food safety standards are met.
