Job summary

Leeds Mind is seeking an Employment Support Coach to help people with severe mental health challenges secure meaningful, long-term employment. You will combine community-based client work with building connections to local employers, delivering CV guidance, interview coaching, and action plans to progress into work.

You will work closely with clinical teams, attend meetings, and maintain GDPR-compliant records while striving to improve outcomes for participants.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support a caseload of around 20 clients to find, prepare for, and sustain employment.
• Develop personalised action plans to identify goals and tackle barriers.
• Reach out to local employers to create opportunities for clients.
• Build lasting employer relationships and challenge workplace stigma.
• Provide one-to-one coaching on CVs, applications, and interview techniques.
• Work with clinical teams and attend multi-disciplinary meetings.
