This voluntary role supports the community and event fundraising team by assisting with planning, preparation, and delivery of fundraising activities, campaigns, and events. You will work alongside professional fundraisers to help raise funds for Teesside Hospice, contributing to developing our income to support local people with a terminal illness, enabling them to live as well as possible, for as long as possible. Activities may include Christmas Campaigns such as Light up a Life and Rudolph Run, coordinating collection tins, bucket collections, and working on events like Midnight Walk, Balls, and other community activities.
Your primary support will come from your manager within the Community and Events Fundraising team. You'll join a professional team, gaining skills and experience in fundraising and communications, with opportunities for personal development.
The team will keep you updated on information, training, and upcoming events. You will receive a Teesside Hospice volunteer ID badge.
