South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for Community Addictions Nurses to join the Bexley Community Drug and Alcohol Service. Roles include leading care package management, coordinating person-centred care, and delivering CBT-based therapy to adults with drug and alcohol issues.

Development posts at Band 5 with progression to Band 6 are available, with core competencies and preceptorship; training toward Addiction-related and Non-Medical Prescribing may be provided.

Qualifikationen

• Nurse from any discipline eligible for development/ Band 5 post.
• Band 5 development posts may progress to Band 6 with core competency training.
• Willingness to undertake Addiction-specific training and potential Non-Medical Prescribing training.

Aufgaben

• Lead clinical management of care packages for service users.
• Coordinate and monitor delivery of person-centred healthcare.
• Deliver individual and group CBT-based therapy.
• Provide physical care including alcohol assessments, BBV interventions, pabrinex and medication administration.
• Incorporate harm reduction interventions and collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
