Join a leading NHS Trust as a band 5 or 6 nurse in the Wandsworth Community Drug and Alcohol Service. This role focuses on providing high-quality recovery-oriented care in a dynamic environment, supporting clients with addiction issues. You will work within the Wandsworth Community Drug and Alcohol Service (WCDAS) to case manage and key-work a defined caseload of clients presenting with any drug or alcohol problem within the Borough and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of clinical care through individual care-planning and in liaison with the multidisciplinary team.
This is a consortium partnership comprised of We Are With You, St Mungo's, CDARS and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) with SLaM being the lead agency in this model. This is a cross-borough contract since 1st April 2020 covering Richmond and Wandsworth with shared leadership and specialist roles as well as local core services.
We provide an excellent and first-class range of drug and alcohol treatment options to residents of Wandsworth and Richmond. Our services are busy and dynamic, with a strong recovery focus. We currently operate across several sites in the two boroughs plus various satellites including in primary care.
About The Team
Wandsworth Community Drug and Alcohol Service is part of the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM), within the Addictions Clinical Academic Group. The Trust provides recognised high-quality learning and development opportunities as well as offering the chance to be involved in research projects through the Institute of Psychiatry and globally respected Addictions Department.
About The Role

We are looking to recruit a band 5 or 6 nurse to be a core member of the multi-disciplinary team, participating in the provision of on-going assessments, care planning, treatment and support of people with drug and alcohol issues to promote health, independence and recovery.
