What You'll Do:

• Lead high-impact internal and external campaigns that inform, inspire, and empower.
• Craft compelling press releases and social media content.
• Advise senior leaders and manage media relations.
• Ensure communities stay connected to essential services.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and delivering strategic communications campaigns
• Managing media relations and acting as a spokesperson
• Creating engaging content for web, social, print, and video
• Supporting internal communications and change programmes
• Collaborating with partners on joint campaigns
• Providing crisis communications support when needed

They are looking for communicators who are:

• Skilled in campaign planning and content creation
• Confident working with media, stakeholders, and senior leaders
• Digitally savvy with a flair for storytelling
• Organised, adaptable, and collaborative

Essential experience:

• Proven track record in communications, PR, journalism, or digital media
• Strong writing and editing skills across multiple platforms

Desirable:

• Local government or public sector experience
• Familiarity with AI tools and emerging digital platforms

Qualifications:
