Job summary

Trinity Hall in Cambridge is seeking a motivated Communications professional to help plan, create and edit content for a range of audiences across social media and print. You will support the College's communications strategy and help celebrate our community.

This permanent, full‑time role (37.5 hours per week) offers a friendly team, a four‑month probation, and opportunities to photograph events, update the website, and contribute to print publications while liaising with internal stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Experience creating engaging content across platforms.
  • Well organised with good eye for detail.
  • Enthusiastic and proactive in delivering high-quality content.

Responsibilities

  • Create content for College social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube).
  • Engage with the Trinity Hall community on social media.
  • Photograph key College events and new staff members.
  • Assist with website updates.
  • Assist with management and delivery of print publications.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to reflect the community.

The Vacancy

This is an exciting opportunity to join our skilled, professional and friendly Communications Team at Trinity Hall and work in our exceptional and unique setting.

You will play an important role in delivering the College's communications strategy, helping to plan, create and edit content for a range of audiences. Your work will help celebrate our community, support engagement activities, and build meaningful connections between Trinity Hall and our audiences.

What We Offer
  • A permanent, full-time position within a supportive and friendly team
  • Remuneration will be £30k-£33k per annum based on experience, there will be a four-month probationary period
  • 37.5 hours per week

What We are Looking For
  • Experience of creating engaging content across a variety of platforms and media
  • A candidate who is well organised, has a good eye for detail and is able to work well under pressure
  • Someone who is enthusiastic and eager to get involved in delivering high-quality content

Duties
  • To create content for College social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube

  • To liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure the Department is supportive and reflective of the community
