Communications Manager Consumer Tech – Italian Required

• Contract length: 11 months with potential to extend to 24 months + permanent conversion
• Location: King's Cross, 3 days per week
• Salary: £88k-£97k per year

We are seeking a talented Communications Manager to join a leading global technology brand specializing in social media networking and VR technology, focusing on an exciting wearable tech initiative in EMEA.

This role is ideal for a communications professional passionate about consumer technology, new media, and the creator economy. The successful candidate will be fluent in Italian, with extensive knowledge of the media landscape in Italy and Spain, and experience with AI-driven or AR wearable products or Consumer Tech.

Responsibilities:

• Implement strategic communication plans for next-generation wearable products across EMEA.
• Lead storytelling efforts for AI/AR hardware in collaboration with internal teams and agencies.
• Develop messaging tailored to regional audiences, especially in Italy.
• Manage content creation across various channels – owned, earned, and social media.
• Organize press events and prepare executive spokespeople.
• Work closely with product, marketing, policy, and social teams.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in communications, focusing on consumer hardware.
• Deep understanding of the media landscape in Italy and Spain.
• Strong relationships within new media and among creators/social publishers.
• Proficiency in Italian and English.
