Our Client in London seeks a Communications Manager (Television Publicity) to lead integrated publicity for original series and premieres. You will craft corporate storytelling and consumer brand PR, coordinating across UK and global media to secure headlines for flagship programming.

Qualifications

  • Strong media relations across traditional, digital and creator/influencer channels.

Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a talented, experienced and driven Communications Consultant. The successful candidate will be a multi-disciplinary communications professional who operates confidently across corporate storytelling, content publicity and consumer brand PR. We’re looking for a modern communications professional who is as comfortable crafting a corporate narrative as they are securing a headline for a blockbuster series.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement integrated content publicity strategies and campaigns for original series, exclusive titles and first-run programming, including unit publicity.
  • Develop and implement creative concepts for premieres, launch events and talent moments, including press junkets, set visits, screenings and digital-first activations.
  • Drive consumer brand PR initiatives in the UK and global marketplace, building cultural relevance and share of voice across lifestyle, entertainment and mainstream media.
  • Lead strategic media relations across traditional, digital and creator/influencer channels
  • Build and maintain a diverse network of media contacts across broadcast, print, online, podcasts and social-first platforms.
  • Leverage data and insights to inform campaign strategy, measure impact and optimise communications approaches across all four pillars.
  • Manage supporting communications agencies, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and delivering value for investment.
  • Manage budgets, reporting and cost-efficiency planning.
  • Work closely with communications professionals across Europe and globally
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships with marketing, social media and events teams to deliver unified campaigns.

Basic Qualifications
  • Significant experience in professional communications across multiple disciplines, including corporate communications, brand PR and content/entertainment publicity.
  • A proven track record of developing and delivering high-impact, integrated communications campaigns that achieve measurable results.
  • Strong media relations skills across traditional, digital and creator/influencer channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and protect corporate narratives, with experience advising senior leadership on communications strategy.
  • Experience managing external agencies and budgets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism or a related field.
  • Experience spanning entertainment/content publicity, consumer brand PR, corporate communications and sports communications.
  • Demonstrable understanding of the UK media landscape, including digital, social and creator ecosystems.
  • Experience with data-driven communications planning and measurement across multiple campaign types.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their application in modern communications workflows.
  • Experience working within a four-pillar or integrated communications function in a media, technology or entertainment organisation.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, global matrix organisation.
  • A genuine passion for television and popular culture.
