What we do:
Most people have a good idea of what a water company does. Here in Yorkshire, we make sure that over 5.4 million people living in the region and the millions of people who visit our region each year, can rely on our services, and have clean and safe drinking water on tap and that their wastewater is taken away. But for us, it's so much more than this.
We look after communities, protect the environment, and plan to look after Yorkshire's water, today, tomorrow 24/7, 365 days a year. We provide essential water and wastewater services to every corner of the Yorkshire region, and play a key role in the region's health, wellbeing, and prosperity.
New environmental legislation, unprecedented levels of investment and changing expectations from customers means that this is an exciting time to discover opportunities within the water industry.

You will support our Communications and Engagement Advisor to deliver activity across our region. You will help to shape our incident communications response, ensuring customers can rely on us when things don't quite go to plan.

You will be out and about in the community representing the business and connecting with our customers. Your primary focus will be talking to customers about our key communications campaigns (such as asking customers to save water or educating them on what shouldn't be flushed down the loo).
You will work closely with our in-house studio to ensure we're maximising all marketing opportunities and work closely with other colleagues in the brand and communications team to ensure our company narrative is consistent across all communications channels.
