Job summary

City College Plymouth is seeking a creative storyteller to join the Marketing & Student Recruitment team and bring the College to life through engaging stories, photography, video and social media. You’ll showcase students, staff and employer partnerships, creating content that celebrates success and strengthens our reputation across the city and beyond.

If you have excellent writing skills, a creative eye and experience producing engaging digital content, we’d love to hear from you.

What Will You Bring to the Role

• Adapting: Ability to respond flexibly to changing priorities, deadlines and College activities, adapting digital content to suit different audiences, platforms and communication needs.
• Problem solving: Ability to identify and resolve content-related challenges, apply College guidelines and policies, and find creative solutions to communicate messages effectively and appropriately.
• Learning: Ability to learn from colleagues, students, employers and audience feedback, using these insights to develop engaging content and improve digital communications.
• Persistence: Ability to remain composed when faced with competing deadlines or unexpected challenges, maintaining high standards and making sustained efforts to deliver quality content on time.
