At Cavendish Nuclear we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Communications and Project Assistant at our Hinkley Point C site.
This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance work across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main Mechanical, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (MEH), cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station’s vast network of rooms.
The role
As a Communications and Project Assistant, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Being part of the MEH Alliance working on Hinkley Point C is a chance to be involved in a major project with national significance. You will support in the MEH Project Office, responsible for implementing communications tools that will grow productivity and efficiency within the organisation, and consolidating information that will enable the team to work more effectively.
Day-to-day, you’ll work cross-functionally and collaboratively to produce presentations, facilitate online webinars, developing engaging content and organising online events.
Please note that this position involves travel/working across a range of internal and customer sites, as a requirement of the role.
This role is full time, thirty-seven hours per week, and is based at Hinkley Point C, with hybrid working arrangements of three days in the office/on site and two days working from home.
