Job summary

Nottingham CityCare Partnership is seeking an experienced Communications and Marketing Officer to turn complex NHS information into clear, engaging content across newsletters, websites, social media and campaigns. The role offers cross-team collaboration across CityCare and the wider health system.

You will plan and deliver communications and engagement activity, support media enquiries, manage digital channels, and help protect the CityCare brand while contributing to incident communications

Qualifications

• Substantial communications, public relations, marketing or engagement experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver internal and external communications, marketing campaigns and engagement activity.
• Write, edit and proofread accessible content for newsletters, websites, intranet, social media, publications, media releases and campaigns.
• Manage day-to-day digital channels and provide communications advice to services and senior colleagues.
• Support media enquiries and incident communications.
• Lead or support corporate events including staff awards and roadshows.
• Travel between CityCare locations and occasional evening/weekend work.

Are you an experienced communications professional who can turn complex information into clear, engaging content and deliver high-quality campaigns across a wide range of channels? We are looking for a creative, organised and confident Communications and Marketing Officer to join Nottingham CityCare Partnership. You will help our staff, patients, communities and partners feel informed, involved and connected to our work. This varied role offers the opportunity to manage campaigns, digital channels, media activity, publications and corporate events, while working closely with colleagues across CityCare and the wider health and care system.,

• You will plan and deliver internal and external communications, marketing campaigns and engagement activity aligned with CityCares priorities.
• You will write, edit and proofread accessible content for newsletters, websites, intranet, social media, publications, media releases and campaigns.
• You will manage day-to-day digital channels, maintain a strong pipeline of positive stories and use insight and performance data to improve reach and engagement. You will provide communications advice to services and senior colleagues, support media enquiries, protect the CityCare brand and contribute to incident communications where required.
• You will lead or support corporate events including staff awards, long service awards, staff briefings and roadshows, and work with partners across the health and care system. You will need substantial communications, public relations, marketing or engagement experience; excellent writing and proofreading skills; strong digital capability; confidence with stakeholders and the media; and the ability to organise multiple projects and deadlines independently.
• The role includes hybrid working, travel between CityCare locations and occasional evening or weekend work. You will bring strong writing, digital, campaign and stakeholder engagement experience, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
