Job description

The National Cardiovascular Research Network (NCRN) is looking for a communications and engagement professional who will develop and deliver the communications and engagement strategy for the NCRN and provide strategic support to its members. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced science/health communications professional to lead communications, drive engagement and support public involvement for cutting-edge cardiovascular research.

You will lead the way by:

• Designing, producing and delivering high-quality internal and external communications content covering the NCRNs cardiovascular research and engagement activities.
• Managing NCRNs brand and a range of communications tools and channels to reach audiences across academia, health care, industry, charities, as well as patients and the public.
• Acting as a key point of contact for the network’s members and partners, whilst building and maintaining good networks with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Supporting the NCRN and its members in the development and implementation of its public involvement in research activities.
