Job summary

Coastland College in Dorchester is seeking a dedicated Specialist Support Assistant - Communication Support to provide specialist communication support for a profoundly deaf student whose primary language is British Sign Language (BSL).

The successful candidate will work with teaching staff to ensure full access to learning and college life through effective BSL communication and Total Communication approaches.

Job description

This position is 18 hours per week, fixed term and term time only for 1 academic year.
