Salary: Scale 4 £23,736 - £24,211 Full time equivalent (Please note this role is Term Time Only at 38 weeks - £20,094.04 - £20,496.40) - “Pay award pending”

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and professional individual to join our team in a key business support role. You will play an important part in helping the College run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall learner and staff experience.

To be successful in this role you will need to be an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills and have relevant experience within this field. Are you an experienced CSW who could provide learning support to students with sensory needs that impact on their learning? Do you understand the challenges faced by deaf learners in a mainstream College? Are you able to implement appropriate strategies to help learners overcome these challenges?
Are you able to develop and use personalised strategies that optimise learning for students of all abilities? Are you keen to ensure that learners are prepared for today’s digital world and can access the assistive technologies that will make their learning easier and accessible? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Communication Support Worker to join our ALS team, part of our wide-ranging Learner Services team.
The role may require you to support learners within areas such as construction, motor vehicle and health and social care. To be successful in this role you will need to have had previous experience in the role of Communication Support Worker.
Requirements
Must-Have:
• Level 2 Maths and English Qualifications
• BSL Level 1 or higher qualification
• Level 3 qualification or above
• Previous experience as a CSW
