Job summary

Bright Heart Education is seeking experienced tutors for part-time, self-employed roles in Greater London, including support in New Malden. You will deliver high-quality English tutoring with a focus on SEN needs and maintain safeguarding standards.

The role offers professional development, a £5 per journey travel contribution, and ongoing support from education professionals, with Tutor of the Month awards and an incentive for high-hour tutors.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK and Enhanced DBS including barring list check.
• Two professional references and a parent reference.
• At least 12 months of tutoring/teaching experience in the UK.
• Excellent spoken and written English with strong subject knowledge.
• SEN tutoring/teaching experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Follow Bright Heart Approach and receive relevant SEN training.

Bright Heart Education’s tuition agency (an employment business) seeks experienced tutors with excellent written and spoken English - experience working with students with SEN needs is strongly desired. We require tutors who can support with Communication Support in New Malden.

Qualifications

All candidates must have the right to work in the UK and a current Enhanced DBS certificate (with a check of the children’s barred list) before commencing any tutoring assignments (we can apply on behalf of a candidate if not currently held). Candidates must also provide 2 relevant professional references and a parent reference. Candidates who have lived / worked overseas in the last 5 years will also need to provide certain overseas checks, including a police certificate. • Strong subject knowledge in their tuition subject(s)
• University qualification or studying towards one and A-levels
