Job summary

Bright Heart Education is seeking experienced tutors in Guildford to join as self-employed, part-time tutors. The role focuses on A-Level Physics and SEN support, with a strong emphasis on clear written and spoken English and a nurturing approach.

We offer a £5 travel contribution per journey, ongoing professional development, CPD access through TES Develop, Tutor of the Month (£150), and a 10% incentive for 80 hours or more within six months.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months of tutoring/teaching experience in the UK.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong subject knowledge in the tuition subject(s).
• SEN tutoring/teaching experience and a passion for working with SEN students.

Responsibilities

• Successful candidates will follow Bright Heart Approach and training for SEN learners.
• Provide focused tutoring sessions for A-Level Physics as needed.
• Deliver progress updates and maintain clear communication with families.

Bright Heart Education’s tuition agency (an employment business) seeks experienced tutors with excellent written and spoken English - experience working with students with SEN needs is strongly desired. We require tutors who can support with A-Level Physics.

Qualifications

All candidates must have the right to work in the UK and a current Enhanced DBS certificate (with a check of the childrens barred list) before commencing any tutoring assignments (we can apply on behalf of a candidate if not currently held). Candidates must also provide 2 relevant professional references and a parent reference. Candidates who have lived / worked overseas in the last 5 years will also need to provide certain overseas checks, including a police certificate.
