We are looking for an experienced Holistic Comms & Social Strategy Specialist to lead regional communications planning for one of our global enterprise clients across EMEA.

This is a senior strategic role focused on shaping how the client shows up across its most important B2B marketing channels. You will develop the regional communications approach, turn global narratives and complex product messages into clear customer-focused stories, and create integrated plans that connect social, paid, owned, earned and offline activity.

A key part of the role will be bringing a social-first mindset into wider marketing activity. You will think beyond individual social campaigns and look at how social platforms, thought leadership, partnerships and influencer activity can strengthen broader campaigns, launches and events.

You will work closely with regional and global marketing teams, media, insights, brand and production teams, as well as external agencies and creative partners. You will help shape strategy, write briefs, develop presentations, support positioning and copy, and guide ideas from early planning through to execution.

This role requires a high level of autonomy. You will need to be comfortable taking ownership of complex work, navigating ambiguity and changing priorities, and bringing multiple global, regional and local stakeholders together around a clear direction.

Success in the role will mean delivering a strong, stakeholder-approved regional communications plan that is strategically sound, easy to understand and straightforward for teams and agencies to execute.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of integrated communications plans across EMEA.
  • Translate global marketing narratives into clear and relevant regional strategies.
  • Adapt communications approaches to reflect different markets, audiences and business priorities.
  • Ensure regional plans connect clearly to wider brand, product and commercial objectives.
  • Build communications plans that are practical, focused and easy for regional and local teams to activate.
  • Bring a social-first perspective into wider marketing planning and campaign development.
  • Connect social activity with paid, owned and earned media, partnerships, influencers and offline events.
  • Apply a strong understanding of social channel behaviour to develop ideas that work effectively across multiple touchpoints.
  • Help shape thought leadership, professional social media and influencer approaches for B2B audiences.
  • Ensure social is considered from the beginning of campaign planning rather than as a separate execution channel.
  • Turn complex products, features and global narratives into clear, customer-focused stories.
  • Develop strategic and multi-channel creative briefs for agencies and internal creative teams.
  • Support campaign positioning, messaging and copy development.
  • Create clear internal presentations that communicate strategy, ideas and recommendations.
  • Pitch ideas and strategic approaches to stakeholders and build alignment around the proposed direction.
  • Work across global, regional and local teams to align communications priorities and plans.
  • Partner with marketing, insights, media, brand, creative and production stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and production partners.
  • Lead feedback processes and help teams move efficiently from strategy into creative development.
  • Navigate differing stakeholder priorities while maintaining a clear strategic direction.
  • Present confidently to stakeholders at different levels of seniority and secure buy-in for recommendations.
  • Support the end-to-end creative process from initial strategy and briefing through development, localisation and delivery.
  • Help agencies and internal studios translate strategy into effective multi-channel assets.
  • Review creative work against campaign objectives, audience needs and brand guidelines.
  • Support the development of scalable and localisable creative approaches across EMEA.
  • Ensure campaigns maintain strong brand consistency while remaining relevant to individual markets.
  • Use campaign performance, audience insights and growth marketing principles to inform communications recommendations.
  • Work with relevant teams to identify opportunities to improve creative effectiveness.
  • Translate performance findings into clear actions for future messaging, content and creative development.
  • Balance brand-building objectives with lead generation, traffic and conversion goals.
  • Use GenAI tools to explore, visualise and prototype creative ideas before agency or production hand-off.
  • Experiment with relevant AI tools to support early-stage creative development.
  • Use AI to help communicate ideas more clearly and accelerate planning and production workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to improve planning and creative processes through AI and automation.
  • Work with Algomarketing's AI and workflow optimisation support to develop more efficient ways of working.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • 10+ years of experience in communications planning, brand strategy, product marketing or a related marketing discipline.
  • Strong experience within B2B, technology, digital advertising, e-commerce or another fast-moving digital environment.
  • Proven experience developing integrated, multi-channel communications strategies.
  • Strong understanding of paid, owned and earned media and how they work together across the customer journey.
  • Experience developing communications strategies across multiple countries or regions, ideally within EMEA.
  • Strong understanding of social channels, user behaviour and social-first campaign planning.
  • Experience with professional social media, thought leadership, partnerships, influencers or related B2B social strategies.

  • German or French language skills would be beneficial but are not essential.
  • Strong interest in digital media, campaign optimisation and emerging creative technologies.
  • Highly strategic, while still comfortable getting hands-on with briefs, presentations, messaging and campaign development.
  • Confident working independently with limited oversight.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and creating structure where the direction is not always immediately clear.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with people at different levels of seniority.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, workstreams and stakeholder groups at the same time.
  • Clear and persuasive communicator who can simplify complex ideas.
  • Strong presenter who is comfortable pitching recommendations and challenging thinking constructively.
