Job summary

St Stephens CofE Primary School (SIPS) within Ignite Learning Partnership is recruiting a Communication and Interaction Specialist to join the Inclusion Team. You will provide expert guidance to leaders, SENDCOs and staff to improve outcomes for children with communication and interaction needs.

The role focuses on building staff capability through coaching, training and modelling best practice, in collaboration with families and external agencies to drive inclusive provision school-wide.

• Experience of supporting children with communication and interaction needs.
• Strong understanding of inclusive practice.
• Commitment to ensuring every child thrives.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist expertise, guidance and support to school leaders, SENDCOs and staff to ensure children with communication and interaction needs receive the best educational experience.
• Build the capacity of school staff through coaching, training and modelling best practice.
• Work collaboratively with leaders, families and external agencies to improve outcomes for pupils.
• Contribute to the strategic development of inclusion across Ignite Learning Partnership.
