Job summary

Abri is seeking a dependable cleaner to travel between properties, ensuring communal areas are clean, safe and well-presented. You’ll contribute to welcoming environments by performing cleaning tasks and reporting safety issues as part of our communal services team.

We value reliability, organisation and the ability to work independently with a hands-on approach, while delivering excellent customer service to residents. Flexible patterns and school-friendly hours may be available.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, caretaking, facilities management or similar is beneficial.
• Flexible working patterns and reliability are valued.
• Full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean communal entrances, stairwells, corridors and shared spaces.
• Carry out litter picking and report repairs or safety issues.
• Maintain hygiene and safety checks across sites.
• Build positive relationships with residents and colleagues.
• Manage workload and daily schedule to ensure timely service.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll spend your days travelling between our properties, ensuring communal areas are clean, safe and well-presented.

This could include:

• Cleaning communal entrances, stairwells, corridors and shared spaces
• Carrying out litter picking
• Reporting repairs, maintenance issues, or anything that may affect customer safety
• Building positive relationships with customers and colleagues
• Taking ownership of your workload and managing your day effectively

What we’re looking for

Experience in cleaning, caretaking, facilities management, housekeeping or a similar role would be beneficial, but we’d also love to hear from people with transferable skills and the right attitude.

While a full UK driving licence is desirable, we recognise that it isn’t possible for everyone. If you don’t hold a licence, we’ll still consider your application and explore opportunities that are within a manageable commuting distance.
