Job summary

The Housing Network is seeking a Cleaning Operative in the Crawley area, full time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Salary is 28,000 per annum.

You will care for residents, maintain communal areas, and safeguard residents as part of a dedicated team within our supported housing sites. Key duties include cleaning void properties, ensuring safe presentation of accommodation and outdoor spaces, reporting repairs, and adhering to COSHH and company policies.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience is essential for delivering high standards of cleanliness across communal areas.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled work on void properties to bring back up to a high standard and in accordance with the Council's targets prescribed in the contract
• Cleaning of rooms/communal areas as directed, ensuring that all rooms/communal areas are maintained to a high quality standard
• Cleaning void rooms to prepare them for new residents.
• Remove rubbish and dispose of correctly.
• Check kitchen and laundry room appliances are clean and free from hazards and common part areas are free from hazards and are clean as directed regularly
• Ensure that the communal areas are hygienic and well maintained.
• Report any repairs to the maintenance office team.
• Carry out sharps sweeps
• Follow all COSHH and company polices
