Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited in Bracknell is seeking a Communal Cleaner to join a housing provider on a temporary to permanent basis. The role covers cleaning communal areas across housing schemes, with a 40-hour week and a pay rate of £12.60 per hour.

You’ll work independently, maintain high cleanliness standards, and report any maintenance or safety issues. A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in housing, commercial, or public spaces.
• Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and take pride in maintaining clean environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular cleaning of communal areas, entrances, hallways, stairwells, lifts and shared facilities.
• Empty bins, sweep and mop floors, clean windows and doors, and maintain outdoor communal spaces.
• Ensure high cleaning standards in line with health and safety guidelines.
• Report maintenance or health and safety issues to the supervisor.
• Work independently and manage time across multiple sites.
