Job summary

Marlin Selection Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a mid-level risk professional to monitor daily trading activity and ensure risks remain within approved limits. You will produce timely P&L and valuation reports, support and improve risk frameworks, and build tools to help the business understand market exposures and trends.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in a middle office, market risk, or product control role within the Commodities market.
• Strong understanding of financial products and derivatives.
• Analytical mindset and ability to communicate insights clearly.

You will need to have:

• Advanced Excel skills and a working knowledge of data tools (SQL or similar)
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly
• The ability to manage deadlines, stay organised, and remain detail-focused in a high-pressure environment
