Aurex Group is working with an international metals and bulk commodities trading house to hire a Compliance Manager based in London. The role will work closely with the non-ferrous and ferrous metals trading teams in the UK and globally and will be the first hire within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain the company’s compliance framework and policies
  2. Serve as the main liaison with regulatory bodies and manage all regulatory filings and audits
  3. Oversee AML/CFT policies and daily compliance operations
  4. Conduct compliance risk assessments for new products and business lines
  5. Provide regular training and conduct internal audits
  6. Advise senior management on compliance and regulatory updates

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5 years of working experience in the commodities compliance sector
  2. Strong knowledge of regulations
  3. Must have commodities experience, preferably metals
  4. Compliance certifications (e.g., ACAMS, ICA) are a plus
