Trafford Council is seeking an experienced Commissioning Officer to support the commissioning cycle across adult social care, health and wellbeing services in Trafford. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commissioning Officer to play a key role in working with the commissioning team in the commissioning and delivery of high-quality, value-for-money residential, nursing, homecare, reablement and community-based support services across Trafford.
Working closely with Specialist Commissioners and partners across health, social care and the voluntary sector you will support the full commissioning cycle and help shape services that enable people to live well and independently either in their own homes or within care settings.
This role has a particular focus on:
You will be required to have experience of Commissioning and Social Care within the fields of Homecare, Reablement, Residential and Nursing care.

An understanding of commissioning is desirable and experience of working in an adult social care setting, using systems such as Liquid Logic and ContrOCC would also be helpful for this role.
You will be a confident commissioning professional with strong analytical, communication and relationship-building skills, and experience of delivering complex programmes in a fast-paced environment.
