3D Personnel Ltd is recruiting a Commissioning Manager for a major data centre project in Blyth, Northumberland. The role leads commissioning of critical MEP systems through to handover, overseeing HV/LV, UPS, generators and cooling along with IST testing.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or have 5+ years leading data centre commissioning.
• Experience commissioning HV/LV, UPS, generators and cooling systems is essential.
• Data centre commissioning experience is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of IST testing and safety training is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commissioning strategy and delivery across all MEP systems.
• Plan and manage commissioning programmes from Level 1 through Level 5 / IST.
• Coordinate commissioning agents, subcontractors and client representatives.
• Review and approve test scripts, procedures and commissioning documentation.
• Manage energisation, testing and handover in line with safe systems of work.
• Track and close out issues, punch lists and commissioning records.
• Report progress and risks to project leadership.

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to join a leading data centre delivery team on a major new data centre project in Blyth, Northumberland. This is a key role leading commissioning of critical mechanical and electrical systems through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the commissioning strategy and delivery across all MEP systems
• Plan and manage commissioning programmes from Level 1 through Level 5 / IST

Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent organisation, communication and leadership skills
• Relevant electrical safety and site safety training
