Commissioning Manager - Data Centre Project - London(also Frankufrt & Paris)

They specialise in Wholesale Data Centres: Colocation Services, Network Services, and Managed Services. Responsibilities:

• Give internal and external customers/ stakeholders confidence in Commissioning process
• Deliver commissioning activity to time/cost/quality. Using initiative and common sense to balance the competing requirements.
• Ensure new designs can be commissioned sensibly within programme time and budget constraints
• Work collaboratively with the project team
• Develop strong working relationships at senior levels with a pool of external Commissioning agent companies
• Works will include some short visits to our main European hubs in London, Frankfurt and Paris.

Requirements:

• Able to give confidence in the project commissioning activities internally and with DCS customers
• Has a good understanding of data centre engineering principles, and the practical understanding of how systems operate once installed
• Able to manage programmes and budgets
• Must have a mix of engineering & delivery capability
• Ability to manage, and take measured decision regarding project risk
• Knowledge of the Ashrae level 1-6 data centre commissioning process
• Able to apply different management styles as needed – e.g. with internal teams, external consultants, difficult contractors etc.
