Job summary

Responsibilities

• Develop commissioning plans, start-up schedules and test documentation with contractors.
• Monitor electrical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards and local codes.
• Provide technical guidance on cabling, containment, switchgear, electrical equipment and vendor systems.
• Coordinate commissioning activities between contractors, subcontractors and equipment suppliers.
• Conduct system walkdowns and inspections ahead of energisation.
• Support the development of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and electrical switching procedures.
• Ensure commissioning documentation, test packs and as-built drawings are completed.
• Verify contractors have the appropriate test equipment and resources for commissioning.
• Oversee commissioning sequencing and support the safe handover of completed systems.
