As a Commissioning Home Manager, you will have the opportunity to drive the recruitment and development of a new team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to elderly and vulnerable residents.

Main duties of the job

As a Commissioning Home Manager, you will be responsible for building and leading a new team to provide exceptional care in a state-of-the-art new build care home. You will collaborate with the new builds projects team and support services to integrate the home into the community and welcome new residents. This role offers a unique chance to establish an outstanding care home and guide it through its initial inspection.

You will lead recruitment, develop a new team, and ensure the successful launch and operation of the new home, including managing the introduction to the community and the onboarding of residents. Our new builds are designed to meet residents' needs, including specialized dementia communities called Memory Lane.

About you

To succeed as a Commissioning Home Manager, you should possess strong leadership skills, a passion for person-centred care, and a successful history of team development and motivation. Essential experience includes managing or opening a new build, community engagement, marketing to boost occupancy, and managing luxury care homes with a high percentage of privately funded residents. You should have excellent organisational and management skills, a solid understanding of safeguarding, CQC, and compliance standards. Your proven ability to market and operate a care home that achieves at least a 'Good' rating will be highly valued.
