Job Title: Commissioning Engineer (Water & Air)
Location: Derby, East Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £25k – £45k + Training + Benefits

We are working closely with an industry leading Commissioning / Water / Air Hygiene company who have a strong presence in the Midlands region. They are now seeking to take on a CSA qualified Commissioning Engineer to cover a mixed portfolio of sites. You will be responsible for ensuring your equipment is correctly calibrated prior to attending site to carry out air and water balancing, measuring balance flow rate, and preparing work for witnessing. For the successful candidate, our client can offer further training, excellent holiday allowance, and company pension scheme.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience working for an established Water / Air company working hands on as a Commissioning Engineer.
• Holding the CSA grade 2 or higher is beneficial to the role.
• Well versed in relevant Health and Safety / CIBSE guidelines.
• Good IT skills, able to produce detailed reports.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Will have excellent technical, chemical and water treatment knowledge.

The Role

• Visiting site and carrying out air and water balancing.
• Accurately measuring balance flow rates.
• Balancing of primary and secondary systems such as AHU, CHW and LTHW.
• Efficiently preparing work for witnessing.
• Using site specific schematic drawings to produce detailed reports.
• Ensuring work adheres to CIBSE / Health and Safety guidelines.
• Providing clients with detailed site-specific reports.
• Ensuring equipment is correctly calibrated prior to arranging site.
