Job summary

Aqumen Business Solutions is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to lead programming, commissioning and support of control panels and automation systems. The role involves hands-on, customer-facing work with regular travel to sites across the UK and overseas.

The ideal candidate will have PLC/HMI programming skills, on-site commissioning experience and the ability to work independently under pressure while delivering quality service to customers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in industrial automation and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Programme and configure PLC and HMI control systems.
• Commission control panels and automation systems on customer sites.
• Carry out testing, fault-finding and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and resolve software and control system issues.
• Provide technical support to customers during and after commissioning.
• Work closely with the engineering and technical teams to deliver projects.
• Travel regularly to customer sites throughout the UK and overseas.
• Communicate directly with customers throughout the commissioning process.
• Complete commissioning documentation and provide technical feedback.
• Support the business with ongoing technical and engineering requirements.
